This challenging 11.957-kilometer circular hike will take you through the stunning Arnigrat area, offering breathtaking views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail starts at Älggialp parking where you can leave your vehicle, and from there you will hike through diverse terrain, including forests and meadows.

At the beginning of the trail, just 0.01 kilometers in, you will find the Älggi information center, providing valuable insights into the local flora and fauna. As you continue, at 0.04 kilometers, you will pass by the Berggasthaus Aelggialp, a cozy restaurant where you can stop for a refreshing break and enjoy some local dishes.

Midway through the hike, at around 5.47 kilometers, you will come across two natural water sources, perfect for rehydrating and refilling your water bottles.
