You are about to embark on a challenging hike through the stunning mountainous terrain surrounding the area of Innere Ochsenalm. This out-and-back route covers a distance of 10.874 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1037 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 5 hours and 6 minutes to complete.
As you set off on your adventure, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. Approximately 3.83 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Ochsenalm restaurant where you can take a break and refuel. Further along the trail at 5.05 kilometers, there's a picturesque water source perfect for a quick rest stop.
Midway through the hike at around 5.44 kilometers in, you'll encounter another water point followed by the Ochsenscharte saddle located at 5.03 kilometers. As you make your way back, you'll pass by a scenic picnic site and the Witwen-Brünnele spring at 1.81 kilometers.
