This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Carretera de Cherín a La Calahorra. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.888 kilometers and an elevation gain of 77 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Puerto de la Ragua alpine hut, where you can rest and enjoy the views. This hut is located right at the beginning of the trail, offering a convenient spot to take a break.

Further along the trail, you will find the Puerto de la Ragua saddle, a natural feature that provides stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. This saddle is located midway through the hike, allowing you to capture some breathtaking photos.

For sustenance, there is a restaurant nearby where you can refuel before continuing on your adventure. This restaurant is located close to the beginning of the trail, making it a great spot to stop for a meal.

As you make your way back, be sure to visit the various viewpoints along the trail, such as the one located 1.44 kilometers from the start and another one 0.4 kilometers from the start. These viewpoints offer unique perspectives of the landscape, perfect for taking in the scenery.
