Welcome to the Schwarzer Weg hiking route in Berlin! This easy 3.343 km long trail with an elevation gain of 35 meters offers a scenic and leisurely stroll through the beautiful Grunewald forest.
At the beginning of the hike, you'll pass by the iconic Grunewaldturm viewpoint, located just 1.24 km from the start of the trail, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. As you continue on, you'll come across Waldhaus an der Havelchaussee, a restaurant situated 1.37 km from the start, where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat.
Along the way, you'll also encounter several benches and information points, providing interesting facts about the area and its history. Keep an eye out for the Karlsberg peak, located 1.14 km from the start, offering a bit of a challenge as you reach the highest point of the hike.
As you near the end of the trail, you'll find yourself back where you started, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated from the peaceful surroundings of the Grunewald forest.
