This challenging 11-kilometer out-and-back hike will lead you to the majestic Hochkogel peak, offering breathtaking views along the way. Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the parking area before embarking on your journey. As you ascend, you'll come across a refreshing water source around the 4.93-kilometer mark, making it a perfect spot to refill your water bottle.

Continuing on, at around 5.52 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the impressive peak of Hochkogel, where you can take in panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. Along the trail, you'll also encounter various points of interest such as benches, historic wayside crosses, and informative signboards providing insights into the area's natural and cultural significance.
