This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an adventure through the breathtaking area surrounding Mater de Paia. The trail spans a total distance of 19.494 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2602.0 meters, so be prepared for a challenging trek that will test your endurance and hiking skills.

As you embark on this journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the stunning Lago artificiale di Roggiasca, a beautiful artificial lake just 0.21 kilometers from the starting point. Further along the route, at a distance of 2.54 kilometers from the start, you will find the cozy Rifugio Cortin alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the majestic peak of Punta di Valstorna, which stands tall at 4.06 kilometers from the starting point. As you continue on, you will pass by informative spots such as the information points at 2.31 and 2.89 kilometers from the start, providing you with insights about the area's history and wildlife.

Towards the end of the trail, at 9.75 kilometers from the start, you will reach Mater de Paia, a notable peak that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Here, you can take in the stunning scenery before making your way back along the same route.
