This extremely difficult 11.198-kilometer hike to Monte Torresella offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The route starts at the parking area which is conveniently located at the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Lago artificiale di Roggiasca, a beautiful artificial lake, located just 0.21 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Continuing along the path, you will come across Rifugio Cortin, an alpine hut and shelter, situated 2.54 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to take a rest and refuel before tackling the remaining distance. Further along the trail at 2.89 kilometers, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area and its surroundings.
As you make your way towards Monte Torresella, which is located 5.6 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views from the peak. The elevation gain of 1249.0 meters adds to the challenge of this hike, so be prepared for a strenuous ascent.
Along the route, there are drinking water facilities available at 2.52 kilometers, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout your hike. It is recommended to bring an ample supply of water, as well as snacks and proper hiking gear. Checking the weather forecast before setting out is also advisable.
