Welcome to the Zirmenweg - Vils hiking route! This picturesque trail offers stunning views and a chance to explore the natural beauty of the area.

At the beginning of your hike, you will find convenient parking areas for easy access to the trail. As you venture further, you will come across the Ruine Falkenstein, a historic castle ruin that provides a glimpse into the region's past.

Midway through the route, you will encounter the Einerkopf and Zwölferkopf peaks, offering a perfect opportunity to take a break and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings. Further along, you will find the Falkenstein peak, providing panoramic views of the landscape.

Throughout the hike, you will come across several benches and wayside crosses where you can rest and take in the peaceful atmosphere. Don't forget to visit the Neuschwansteinblick viewpoint for a stunning vista of the area.

As you near the end of the trail, you will pass by informative spots and additional benches for your convenience. Be sure to check out the Alex Eiterer Platz memorial and Falkensteinsepp wayside cross along the way.

After your hike, consider dining at PAVO or Restaurant zu Pfronten to refuel and relax.

This route spans 3.56 kilometers and has an elevation gain of 107 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. Remember to bring water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the forecast before setting out.
