The Zirmenweg hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and historical landmarks. The trail is 3.56 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 107 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across parking facilities available nearby. Moving forward, at a distance of 0.82 kilometers from the start, you will find the peak of Einerkopf, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Further ahead, at 1.17 kilometers, you will reach Zwölferkopf peak, which is located right on the trail.
One of the notable landmarks along the trail is the Ruine Falkenstein, a historic castle and attraction located at the beginning of the route. You can explore the ruins and learn about the history of the area. As you continue hiking, you will encounter several benches and wayside crosses, providing resting spots and points of interest.
Midway through the hike, at 1.78 kilometers, you will find boundary stones marking the historic significance of the area. Additionally, there are viewpoints like Neuschwansteinblick offering panoramic views of the surroundings. At the end of the trail, you will come across the Salober peak, another natural highlight of the route.
