Located in the Val Masino area, the Via Roma hiking route offers a pleasant and easy hike for nature enthusiasts. The 1.126-kilometer trail features an elevation gain of 115 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across a climbing area just 0.07 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. About 0.06 kilometers in, you will find a historic wayside shrine, adding a touch of cultural significance to your journey. Further along the trail at 0.15 kilometers, another climbing spot, Sasso Remenno, awaits for those seeking more adventurous activities.

For your convenience, there are parking facilities at various points along the trail, with some requiring a fee. You will also find drinking water stations at 0.01 kilometers and 0.07 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, a rock formation known as Sasso Remenno, a popular climbing and tourist attraction, can be explored at 0.07 kilometers.

Near the midway point of the trail, at 0.56 kilometers, a viewpoint provides a stunning perspective of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way back, take a moment to rest at the picnic sites located at 0.03 kilometers and 0.07 kilometers from the start.
