Welcome to the hiking route in the beautiful area of Jerusalem. This circular route offers a total distance of 1.265 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you begin your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. At the very start, you'll find the intriguing Tomb of Yed Avshalom, located just 0.29 kilometers from the trail. Further along, at 0.27 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Tomb of Bnei Hazeir and the Tomb of Zacharia.
Midway through the hike, at 0.42 kilometers from the start, you can enjoy panoramic views from the Rechavam Viewpoint. As you continue, you'll also come across the Nekropolis archaeological site and the Andarta memorial, both offering unique insights into the area's history.
Towards the end of the hike, at 0.54 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Ma'arat Hanaviim (Prophet's Cave) and the viewpoint overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem.
