Welcome to the hiking route in Jerusalem! This super easy route will take you through some of the most fascinating historical sites in the area.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find the archaeological park of Jerusalem, where you can explore ancient ruins and learn about the city's rich history. As you continue on, you'll come across the City Walls and various archaeological sites, including excavations at Givati and the Temple model.
Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the Shushan Gate, a historic city gate that leads you to the Fountain of Al-Kas. This will be a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
On the way back, you'll pass by the Chain Gate, where you can admire the view of the city from a different perspective. As you make your way back to the starting point, take a moment to appreciate the ancient stairway and the Golden Menorah memorial.
This circular route spans approximately 0.848 kilometers and has no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
