Located in the beautiful area of Sendero Huillifotem near Puerto Montt, this super easy hiking route offers a pleasant stroll through nature.

Starting off, you will find a convenient parking area right by the trailhead. As you make your way along the path, about midway through, you'll come across a stunning viewpoint where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Continuing on, you will encounter an informative Guardaparque station where you can learn more about the area. Further along, at a distance from the trail, you'll find the impressive Pared de roca (rock wall) and the picturesque Río Chamiza.

For a relaxing break, a cozy picnic site is situated at 0.15 kilometers from the start, providing a perfect spot to enjoy a snack amidst nature's beauty.

With a total distance of 1.196 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, this out-and-back trail is ideal for hikers of all skill levels. Remember to bring water, check the weather forecast before heading out, and enjoy the serene surroundings of Sendero Huillifotem.
