Welcome to the hiking route to Ritzingerhütte! This challenging and rewarding 8.4-kilometer trail offers stunning views and opportunities to explore the wilderness.

Beginning at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. About 4.21 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Ritzingerhütte, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Further along, at 4.18 kilometers, you will find Viehbergalm, another alpine hut and restaurant where you can refuel and relax.

As you continue on the trail, you may also come across attractions such as the Öfen, a notable location approximately 0.26 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there is a waterfall at 1.79 kilometers into the hike, providing a refreshing sight along the way.

Throughout the route, you will encounter benches, information points, and wayside shrines for resting and learning more about the area's history. Make sure to stay hydrated, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
