Welcome to the hiking route in the beautiful Hölltal area! This route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 7.21 kilometers and an elevation gain of 889 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your endurance and strength. As you start your journey, you will come across the Silberkarklamm parking area, which serves as the trailhead for your adventure. From there, you will begin your ascent into the stunning alpine terrain. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest that will enhance your hiking experience.

Not far from the start, at approximately 0.39 kilometers, you will find the Klettersteig Hias via ferrata route, offering an exciting challenge for those with a sense of adventure. Further along the trail, at 1.2 kilometers, you will reach the Silberkarhütte, where you can take a break and replenish your energy with some delicious refreshments.

As you continue your journey, at 2.01 kilometers, you will come across the Klettersteig "Siega," another thrilling via ferrata experience, although it is slightly off the main trail. For those interested in history, at 2.78 kilometers, you will find fascinating ruins to explore.

Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the hike, as there are springs such as the one at 0.57 kilometers, and enjoy the refreshing sights of the waterfall at 0.51 kilometers. Additionally, taking breaks at the various benches along the trail, like the one at 3.06 kilometers, will allow you to appreciate the surrounding natural beauty.

As you reach the endpoint of the trail at 3.61 kilometers, take a moment to soak in the panoramic views from the viewpoint at Grubach before making your way back.
