This hiking route is an extremely difficult 14.711-kilometer out-and-back trail that will take you approximately 6 hours and 4 minutes to complete, so be prepared for a challenging adventure. The trail starts at a parking area and leads you through a beautiful natural landscape with stunning views.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. About 5.32 kilometers from the start, you will find the Ahornsee, a picturesque water body where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail, at approximately 7.36 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Schildenwangalm, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before continuing your journey.
For those looking to quench their thirst, there is a drinking water spring located at 7.3 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there are picnic sites, a waterfall named Gradenbachwasserfall at 1.83 kilometers from the start, and an attraction called Wasserräder with 24/7 opening hours at the beginning of the trail.
