This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Kaestenberg. The trail is 4.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 79 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.21 kilometers into the hike, you will reach "Le Saut du Prince Charles," a popular climbing spot in the area. Nearby, there is also a wayside shrine called "Grotte" and the "Rocher du Saut du Prince Charles" attraction.

As you continue on the trail, at around 1.42 kilometers, you will reach the "Schmüsbankele" viewpoint and a bench for a rest stop. Further along the trail, at 2.25 kilometers, you will find the "Jardin Botanique de Saverne" information center and the "Kaestenberg" peak.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter several benches for resting and a picnic site for a break. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the forecast before heading out. The trail is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and peaceful nature of Kaestenberg on this refreshing hike.
