This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Frohnberg. The trail is 4.122 kilometers long with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Croix du Langenthal parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. A short distance away, you will find the historic Croix du Langenthal wayside cross. Further along the path, about midway through your hike, you will encounter the Borne Romaine, an ancient Roman milestone.
Continuing on, you will pass by the Front de Taille Carrière de Frohnberg archaeological site and the Pierres à Cupules- Carrière de Frohnberg, both offering a glimpse into the area's rich history. Make sure to stop and admire the Rocher Kanzel, an interesting rock formation located close to the trail.
As you reach the 1.78-kilometer mark, you will find the Rocher du Spitzfelsen, a tourist attraction slightly off the trail. Along the way, you will also come across several benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Additionally, there are information points scattered throughout the hike providing insights into the surroundings.
Your destination, Frohnberg peak, awaits you at the end of the trail. Take in the breathtaking views from the top before making your way back along the same path.
