This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking landscape of the Geigensee area, known for its stunning natural beauty and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the Geigenseehütte as the destination.
Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards the Geigenseehütte. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. About midway through your hike, you will come across the Geigensee, a picturesque water body that provides a serene setting for a rest stop or a quick snack.
Continuing on, you will reach the Regenstein peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding alpine landscape. This vantage point is perfect for capturing stunning photos and taking in the beauty of the area.
