Welcome to the hiking route to Alpe Starkatsgund in the beautiful area near the Großer Alpsee in Immenstadt. This moderate 4.4 km trail with an elevation gain of 360 meters will take you approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 2.22 km into the hike, you will reach Alpe Starkatsgund, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Continuing onwards, at approximately 1.09 km from the start, you will come across Alpe Gschwenderberg, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can refuel before continuing your adventure.

Along the way, you will also encounter informative signboards at various points, providing insight into the surrounding area. Don't forget to check out the nearby waterfalls, Kleiners Hexahäusle, and another waterfall at around 0.06 km from the start.

As you make your way back, take a moment to appreciate the historic wayside crosses that dot the trail, adding a cultural touch to your outdoor experience.
