This hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Calamorro, located in a beautiful natural area with breathtaking views. The trail is an out-and-back type, meaning you will return the way you came.
As you start your journey, you'll find convenient parking spots available nearby. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out and bring plenty of water with you as the trail is 7.9 kilometers long and gains 504 meters in elevation. The hike is of moderate difficulty due to its length and elevation gain.
Along the route, you will come across several points of interest. About 3 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach an attraction point and a scenic viewpoint. Further ahead, at the same distance intervals, there are additional viewpoints and an information spot where you can learn more about the area.
At around 3.9 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a cafe where you can take a break and refuel. As you continue, you'll encounter benches where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. The trail leads you to Puerto Viejo, a saddle point at about 6.9 kilometers into the hike, offering a unique natural experience.
Your final destination, Monte Calamorro, stands tall at 696 meters above sea level. You'll have the opportunity to take in panoramic views of the area before making your way back.
