Welcome to the Eugen-Köhler-Weg hiking trail!
Located in a beautiful area with stunning views, this moderate 6.8 km out-and-back trail offers a great opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy a day of hiking.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Ifen parking area. As you continue your journey, about 3.34 km into the hike, you'll come across Alpe Melköde, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some local food at Berggasthof Auenhütte. Further along the trail, at around 3.36 km, you'll find a biergarten where you can relax and refresh yourself.
Exploring the surroundings, you'll encounter the picturesque Herzsee at 0.82 km from the start, followed by Melköde and a waterfall at approximately 3.32 km and 3.41 km, respectively. As you make your way back, be sure to check out the various benches and picnic sites scattered along the trail for a peaceful rest stop.
With an elevation gain of 100 meters, this hike offers a moderate challenge suitable for hikers of various skill levels.
