This extremely difficult 12.4-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Rifugio Lago Verde. With an elevation gain of 908 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart but promises breathtaking views and a rewarding experience for those up to the challenge.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a drinking water point right at the beginning, so make sure to fill up your water bottle before embarking on this demanding journey. As you make your way along the trail, at around 0.1 kilometers from the start, you will come across a natural water feature, providing a serene spot to rest and take in the beauty of the surroundings.

Around the 5.1 kilometer mark, you will encounter historic ruins, adding a sense of mystery and intrigue to your hike. Continuing on, at the 5.1 and 5.13 kilometer points, more ruins can be found, making for a fascinating exploration of the area's past.

After completing the most challenging part of the hike, at approximately 6.1 kilometers from the start, you will reach Lago Verde, a picturesque alpine hut where you can take a well-deserved break and refuel before continuing on your journey.
