The hike along the Southern Trail offers breathtaking views and a variety of points of interest along the way. Starting at the parking area "Ратраки", hikers will embark on a 2.35-kilometer journey with a total elevation gain of 219 meters.

At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the memorial "Защитникам Приэльбрусья", a historic monument dedicated to the defenders of the region. As you continue, you will find the cafe "Мир" and "Кафе Экстрим", perfect spots to grab a quick bite before heading further.

Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the alpine huts "Бочки", "Ветер", and a few others, providing potential shelter options or a chance to rest and take in the surroundings.

Towards the end of the trail, you'll reach the viewpoint "Станция Мир (высота 3500)", offering a panoramic view at an elevation of 3500 meters. Before heading back, stop by the cafes "Гарабаши", "Ice Peak", and "Full House" to refuel and relax.

This route is classified as easy, but it's always recommended to bring an adequate water supply, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out. The total duration of the hike is approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes.
