This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Pierre Blanche - Piste du Mont Château-Bourreau. The 12.466-kilometer trail offers a challenging elevation gain of 627.0 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across Chalet de Caron, a fast food spot located just 0.1 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great place to grab a quick bite before continuing your hike. Further along the trail, at 1.48 kilometers from the start, you will find Chalet des 2 Ours, a restaurant where you can refuel and recharge.
As you venture deeper into the hike, at 3.43 kilometers from the start, there is an information point that provides insights about the area. Additionally, at 3.48 kilometers, you will reach Refuge du Lou, an alpine hut that offers accommodation for hikers looking to spend the night in the wilderness.
