This extremely difficult 14.223-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through some breathtaking natural beauty and historic sites in the Lago Verde area. The trail has an elevation gain of 980 meters and is estimated to take about 5 hours and 44 minutes to complete.
Starting at Parcheggio Campeggio Prali, you'll begin your journey surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature. As you make your way along the trail, be sure to stop by Bivio 13 Laghi for some informative insights about the area.
Around the 5.06-kilometer mark, you'll come across Lago Draio, a beautiful water feature that is worth a visit despite being slightly off the trail. Continuing on, you'll encounter a series of historic ruins including Lago Verde piccolo, each with its own unique story to tell.
Midway through the route, at approximately 5.43 kilometers, you'll find yourself at Lago della Carota, another stunning water spot that provides a perfect resting point to refuel and take in the scenery.
As you venture towards the end of the hike, make sure to explore the various information points scattered along the trail, such as those at 5.04 and 5.28 kilometers, to learn more about the region's history and landmarks.
