This hiking route takes you on a 7.44 kilometers long adventure through a beautiful area with an elevation gain of 707 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. About 3.66 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a natural water source, a perfect spot to rest and refill your water bottle. Further along the trail, at 1.97 kilometers from the start, you will find the Alpenrosenhütte, an alpine hut where you can grab a meal and enjoy the stunning views.
As you continue your journey, you will encounter the Alte Mittelstation restaurant at just 0.05 kilometers from the start, Talkaser restaurant at 3.14 kilometers away, and Sonnalm restaurant at 0.74 kilometers from the start, offering you various options for dining or resting.
Midway through the hike, at 3.14 kilometers from the start, you will come across a historic wayside cross, adding a touch of cultural significance to your adventure. Near the peak, at 3.66 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Guggenkögele peak, providing you with a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
