This hiking route starts at Startplatz West and features a circular trail with a total distance of 7.44 kilometers and an elevation gain of 721 meters, making it a challenging hike. The route offers stunning views and various points of interest along the way.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you progress, you will come across Alte Mittelstation, a restaurant located just 0.05 kilometers from the start, where you can stop for a meal or refreshments. Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.74 kilometers, you will reach Sonnalm, another restaurant offering a chance to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 3.59 kilometers from the start, you will find Guggenkögele, a peak that offers panoramic views but is not directly on the trail. Nearby, Alpinolino Station and an information point called Adler provide additional insights about the area.

Towards the end of the trail, around the 3.59-kilometer mark, you will encounter Gipfelkreuz, a historic wayside cross, and the Panoramarestaurant Choralpe, where you can relax and refuel before completing the hike. Additionally, there are several other information points and free-flying sites in the vicinity for you to explore.

As this is a difficult hike with considerable elevation gain, it is recommended to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
