This challenging 11.7 km hike to Floch starts from the parking area and takes approximately 4 hours and 39 minutes to complete. The trail begins with a visit to Labalm, a restaurant, and alpine hut located right at the start of the hike. As you continue on the trail, you will come across a water source 3.71 km into the hike, perfect for refilling your water bottles.

About midway through the hike, you'll find an information point conveniently located just 0.02 km off the trail. This information point offers insights into the surrounding area and is a great spot to take a break and learn more about your surroundings.

As you approach the peak of Floch at 5.86 km into the hike, make sure to take in the breathtaking views before heading back. On the way back, you'll encounter Hintenkarscharte, a saddle located 4.94 km from the start point, offering a unique perspective of the landscape.

This out-and-back route is not for the faint of heart, with an elevation gain of 775 meters. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike. Enjoy the stunning views and challenging terrain on your journey to Floch.
