The Goodwater Rim Trail is a challenging 42.3-kilometer out-and-back hiking route that offers stunning views and natural attractions. The trail starts at the parking area, located at the beginning of the trail. As you begin your hike, you'll come across the Buckhorn Draw Pictograph Panel, an archaeological site that is worth exploring.

Along the way, you'll pass by Drought Relief Reservoir and Cloyds Pond, both natural water sources situated midway through the trail. These spots are great for taking a rest and refilling your water supply. Further along the trail, you'll encounter Wedge Pond No 4, another water feature, but it is slightly off the main path.

As you approach the endpoint, at around 21.14 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach a viewpoint that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area before heading back.
