Welcome to the Highpoint hiking route! This moderate 6.163-kilometer circular trail offers stunning views and a moderate challenge for hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by Mountain Horse Adventures at the beginning of the hike, offering a glimpse into local tourism activities. As you continue on, you'll come across a variety of dining options such as Cabinet Mountain, Chimney Rock Bar & Grill, Lakeview Cafe, Mojo Coyote Cafe, Powder Hound Pizza, Pucci's Pub, Sam's Alley, and Taps Bar. These spots are perfect for refueling midway through your hike.

Be sure to check out the artwork along the trail at the 0.02-kilometer mark and gather more information about the area at the tourist information center located 0.15 kilometers from the start.

The trail also offers parking options at the trailhead and midway through the hike, making it convenient for visitors. Although there are water sources located 0.09 and 2.74 kilometers from the trailhead, it's always a good idea to bring your own water to stay hydrated throughout the journey.

With an elevation gain of 412 meters, this hike provides a good workout while still being accessible to hikers of various skill levels. Before embarking on this adventure, be sure to check the weather forecast and wear appropriate footwear.
