This extremely difficult hiking route covers a distance of 26.108 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 1827 meters, and an estimated duration of 10 hours and 36 minutes. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting and ending at the same point.

The hike begins in a picturesque area surrounded by natural beauty. Along the way, hikers will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Labalm, a charming alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy some local cuisine. Further along, about 1.31 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Schaukäserei Kasplatzl, a cheese dairy where you can sample some delicious local cheeses.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by Schöntaljoch, a scenic saddle point, at around 5.72 kilometers from the start. Make sure to stop by Baumgartenalm, a restaurant located 10.03 kilometers into the hike, to refuel and recharge.

Around the halfway point, at 13.05 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a natural water source at a beautiful spot. Towards the end of the trail, at approximately 5.65 kilometers from the start, there is another water point, but it is slightly off the trail.
