It is recommended to be well-prepared with proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey.

Starting off at Grotto Fondovalle, a restaurant located just 0.05 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, hikers can enjoy a meal before setting off. Along the way, there are several points of interest to look out for. Capanna Ribia, an alpine hut, is positioned at around 4.33 kilometers from the start, offering a potential resting spot or overnight accommodation.
