This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you through a challenging 12.923 km trail with an elevation gain of 1062.0 meters, located in the breathtaking area of M51 - M51.

As you start your journey, you will come across the tranquil Lago Panelatte at approximately 5.19 km from the trailhead, offering a perfect spot to take in the scenic surroundings. Further along the trail, you will encounter additional water features such as streams and lakes, including one at 5.2 km and another at 6.46 km.

For those interested in cultural landmarks, the Forcola di Larecchio saddle awaits you at 5.8 km, providing a unique perspective of the area. Additionally, there are several amenities available along the trail, including the Rifugio Arvogno and Rifugio del Moro restaurants at the start of the route, offering a convenient place to rest and refuel.

As you make your way back, make sure to appreciate the stunning viewpoint at Lago Panelatte around 5.14 km into the hike. Keep an eye out for the Passo di Fontanalba saddle at 4.8 km, where you can pause and enjoy the panoramic views.
