This hiking route will take you through a challenging terrain with a total distance of 13.74 kilometers and an elevation gain of 312 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike. The route is an out-and-back trail with the destination being Il Castellazzo.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your journey on this adventurous hike. Along the way, at the beginning of the trail, you will find another parking area for convenience. As you continue, about 0.02 kilometers into the hike, there is another parking spot available.

Midway through the hike, you will come across a restaurant where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your journey. Further ahead, at a distance of 6.05 kilometers from the start, you will reach an archaeological site worth exploring.

One of the highlights of this route is reaching the peak of Il Castellazzo, located 6.87 kilometers from the start. The views from the peak are breathtaking and make the challenging hike worthwhile.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring an adequate water supply, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast.
