The Route Romaine is a moderate 6.789-kilometer circular hiking route with an elevation gain of 213 meters, located in a picturesque area.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by a shelter about 0.58 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break or seek refuge if needed. Continuing on, at around 0.76 kilometers, you will come across a natural water source, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottles.

Around 2.9 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Falkenstein, a notable climbing site with impressive relief maps. This is a great spot to admire the surrounding landscape and take in the views. Nearby, you will also find Rocher du Falkenstein, a peak offering stunning panoramic views of the area.

Midway through the hike, at 3.12 kilometers, there is a viewpoint where you can pause to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Additionally, there is a restaurant called Aux Deux Clefs around 0.34 kilometers away, where you can grab a meal or snack to replenish your energy.
