This hiking route to Pequeño Bachimala offers a challenging and rewarding experience for seasoned hikers. The trail spans approximately 16.97 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1874 meters, making it extremely difficult in terms of difficulty.
The journey begins at the trailhead where you will find a parking area conveniently located at the start. As you venture into the route, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. Around 2.27 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Cabane de La Pez, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Further ahead, at around 5.81 kilometers, you will reach Port de la Pez, a saddle offering panoramic views of the area.
One of the highlights of the hike is Punta de l'Abella, a peak located approximately 8.11 kilometers from the starting point. Additionally, you will pass by Cabane Jean-Forgues, another shelter, situated about 1.99 kilometers into the trail. As you continue your journey, you will also encounter Pico Puerto de la Pez and Pico de la Pez, both peaks offering stunning vistas of the landscape.
