Colombia Quindío

This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area near Calarcá, Colombia. The trail is 2.055 kilometers long with no elevation gain, making it an easy trek suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the Cooperativa de Motoristas El Cacique de Calarcá, a parking area located right at the trailhead. Further along the trail, about 0.48 kilometers in, you will come across the Mariposario, a zoo where you can observe various species of butterflies.

If you need a break, there is a cafe called Cafe nearby, about 0.32 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, at around 1.03 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint where you can take in stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. Adjacent to the viewpoint is the Coffe shop La Tienda de Los Mecatos, another cafe where you can grab a snack.

On your way back, you will pass by Amore Mio, located 0.95 kilometers from the start, offering another option for a pit stop. Before reaching the end of the trail, you will encounter the Mariposario once again, this time about 0.31 kilometers from the start.
