Welcome to the 4B - Maximiliansteig hiking route! This trail offers a challenging adventure with a distance of 15.062 kilometers and an elevation gain of 848 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

The trail starts at a convenient parking area located right at the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you will come across the Tierser Alpl Hütte - Rifugio Alpe di Tires alpine hut, a cozy accommodation spot just 4.97 kilometers from the start, perfect for a rest or overnight stay.

Continuing on, at the 7.04 kilometer mark, you will find an information center providing details about the area. Further along the trail at 7.53 kilometers, you will reach the Roterdspitze - Cima di Terrarossa peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Along the way, there are several informational spots and viewpoints to enhance your hiking experience. Remember to stay hydrated and pack enough water for the journey, as well as checking the weather forecast before you set out.

As you approach the midway point, at 4.25 kilometers, there is a bench to rest and take in the beautiful scenery. Additionally, at the 4.26 kilometer mark, you will reach the Furcela - Rosszahnscharte - Forcella Denti di Terrarossa saddle, a unique natural formation worth exploring.

For those interested in peak views, the Großer Rosszahn peak is located 5.09 kilometers from the start, offering a challenging yet rewarding side trip off the main trail.

As you make your way back, take advantage of the benches and information centers scattered along the route for breaks and additional insights into the surroundings.
