This challenging hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints, historic ruins, natural water sources, and peaks to conquer. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading to the destination of Pico Pienzu.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the Mirador d'El Fitu, a scenic viewpoint at the beginning of the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across a wilderness hut called Refugio where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Further along the route, at about 3.44 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter some historic ruins to explore and a natural water source known as Deposito de Agua, perfect for refilling your water supply.
