This extremely difficult 16.431-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking Schawisköpfl peak. The trail begins at a parking area, where you can easily locate Fischteich, a serene water feature just 88 meters away from the start.

As you make your way through the challenging terrain, you'll come across a cozy cafe about 44 meters from the trail, perfect for a quick break. Further along, at the 0.22-kilometer mark, a lovely picnic site awaits, offering a picturesque spot to rest and refuel.

Along the journey, you'll encounter several benches strategically placed for hikers to take a moment to enjoy the surroundings. These benches are located at the 0.2-kilometer mark from the start, providing a peaceful spot to relax and take in the scenery.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the Schawisköpfl peak at the 8.22-kilometer mark, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. As you make your way back, be sure to stay hydrated by stopping at the drinking water stations conveniently located every 0.2 kilometers from the start.

Although the trail is challenging, with an elevation gain of 1281 meters, the stunning views and rewarding experience make it worth the effort. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear proper hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
