Welcome to the Lad Stones hiking route! This moderate 4.098-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a picturesque journey through the stunning natural landscapes.

Starting at Low Tilberthwaite parking area, you will begin your adventure with a short walk to the first point of interest, an artwork situated just 0.01 kilometers from the start. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by a cave entrance, a viewpoint with breathtaking scenery, and a tranquil waterfall at 0.9 kilometers into the hike.

Around the midway point, you will encounter a series of beautiful water features, including another waterfall and a natural cave entrance at 1.04 kilometers from the start. Be sure to take a moment to rest at one of the benches conveniently placed along the trail.

As you make your way back, don't miss the opportunity to explore the various water bodies and unique geological formations that dot the landscape. Be mindful of the elevation gain of 466 meters and remember to bring plenty of water and snacks for the journey.
