This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Glaramara in the Lake District. With a total distance of approximately 5.7 kilometers and an elevation gain of 641 meters, this trail is rated as difficult and is expected to take around 2 hours and 55 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead near Stockley Bridge, you will make your way through beautiful landscapes towards Glaramara. Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest. At around 0.19 kilometers from the start, you will find a cafe where you can stop for a quick break. As you continue on, you will encounter several water sources, perfect for refilling your water bottle.
Around midpoint, at approximately 2.63 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Glaramara Stone Axe Factory, an archaeological site of historical significance. Take some time to explore this unique landmark before continuing on your journey.
Towards the end of the trail, at about 2.71 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Glaramara itself. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the top before making your way back along the same route.
