This hiking route will take you to the stunning Mont Gelé area, offering breathtaking views and a challenging trek. With a total distance of approximately 14.99 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1319 meters, this trail is rated as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across a parking area, which is a great spot to leave your vehicle. As you continue on, you will reach an information point where you can learn more about the area. Further along the trail, at around 4.5 kilometers from the start, you'll find the unique Japanese Natural Garden, a must-see attraction.

As you make your way towards Mont Gelé, you will encounter the Chassoure peak at around the 6.5-kilometer mark. This peak offers a picturesque viewing point and a great spot to take a break before continuing your journey. Around 1 kilometer later, you will reach the Col de Chassoure, another informative site where you can learn about the local area.

Finally, at 7.5 kilometers into the hike, you will arrive at the majestic Mont Gelé peak, the ultimate destination of this out-and-back trail. Take in the panoramic views from the summit before heading back the way you came.
