This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Poggio la Zucca. The trail is 11.269 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 571.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the parking area at the beginning of the trail. From there, you will pass by Passo del Treppio, a picturesque saddle located 0.6 kilometers from the start.

About 2.71 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the historic ruins of an ancient site, with multiple ruins to explore along the way. As you continue, you will reach several peaks such as La Pigna, Poggio Cattarelle, Poggio Cicialbo, and more. These peaks offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

At around 2.95 kilometers from the start, you will find the wayside shrine of Madonnina di Gianni, adding a cultural touch to your hike. Nearby, Passo delle Pescine and an information point provide interesting stops along the trail.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching Poggio la Zucca, a peak with breathtaking views located 5.63 kilometers from the start. This makes for a great turnaround point before heading back on the same trail.
