Welcome to the hiking route R2, located in a scenic area with stunning views and challenging terrain. This route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 13.283 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1031 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, hikers will embark on a journey that will lead them to various points of interest along the trail. Approximately 6.64 kilometers from the start, you will find an alpine hut and a shelter for accommodation. A water source, known as Bassin la Noix, is located 6 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, providing a refreshing break for hikers.
As you continue your hike, you will come across Gîte et camping Les Filaos, a campsite located 6.3 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy place to rest. For sustenance, a pub is conveniently situated 6.36 kilometers into the trail, providing a chance to refuel before continuing the journey.
Throughout the hike, you will encounter several viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding landscape. These viewpoints are perfect for capturing memorable photos and taking in the natural beauty of the area.

For those interested in history, a wayside shrine can be found 4.93 kilometers into the trail, offering a glimpse into the past. As you approach the turnaround point of the hike, you will encounter a peak called "Bord Bazar" at 5.02 kilometers from the start, providing a rewarding accomplishment for your journey.
