Welcome to the hiking route to Lago ESPOL! This route is located in a beautiful natural area with convenient parking spots available at the beginning of the trail. As you start your hike, you'll pass by a scenic parking area at the start, perfect for leaving your vehicle before embarking on the adventure.

About a third of the way into the hike, you'll come across the stunning Lago ESPOL, a picturesque water body where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. This tranquil spot is a great place to relax and take in the beauty of nature.

On your way back, you can stop by a restaurant called "Comedor Marítima" located near the trail, where you can refuel and grab a bite to eat. Additionally, you'll pass by a historic monument called "Monumento El Ancla," adding a touch of cultural significance to your hike.

This out-and-back trail is relatively short, spanning approximately 0.636 kilometers with minimal elevation gain, making it a super easy hike suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
