This hiking route at Terminator 2 Peak is an extremely difficult 14.438-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1095 meters.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by Eagle's Eye restaurant at around 6.06 kilometers from the start, offering a good spot to grab a meal or snack. Heaven's Door Yurt is also along the trail at approximately 4.07 kilometers from the beginning, providing another rest stop option.

As you continue on the trail, you will reach Terminator Peak, located at 6.65 kilometers from the start, although it is slightly off the trail. Terminator 2 Peak, the final destination, is located 7.22 kilometers from the beginning, providing stunning views and a great sense of accomplishment for hikers.

Due to the length and elevation gain of the trail, this hike is considered extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging trek. Ensure you bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
