This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Via Roma Imperiale, offering a mix of nature and historic landmarks. The trail is relatively easy with a distance of 1.919 kilometers and an elevation gain of 138 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the hike. Further along the route, about midway, you will find a memorial dedicated to Costantino Cane, a significant historic landmark. As you continue on, you will pass by a wayside cross and a couple of drinking water stations to refill your supplies.
Towards the end of the trail, you will encounter additional historic memorials including one for the Partigiani of May 9, 1944, and a Memoriale ai Caduti. Finally, the trail concludes at a fountain where you can rest and replenish before heading back.
