This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with a diverse range of points of interest to explore along the way. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 6.876 kilometers and an elevation gain of 283 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

Starting at the Otxondo parking area, you can begin your journey through the stunning natural surroundings. As you make your way, you will come across various points of interest such as a BBQ area at just 42 meters from the trailhead, perfect for a rest stop or enjoying a meal.

Further along the trail, around 1.25 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Cromlech Artxubieta, an ancient archaeological site rich in history. Continuing on, you will also pass by the Menhir Artxubieta Hegoalde and Menhir Artxubieta Iparralde, both located around 1.29 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.

At about 3.43 kilometers in, you will reach the peak known as Betarteko Haitzak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are informative stops along the way, such as the Otxondo - Baztan information point at the start and the Baztan - SL-NA Alkurruntz information point midway through the hike.
