Welcome to the Giferspitz hiking route!
Located in a picturesque area, this trail offers stunning views and a challenging hike for experienced outdoor enthusiasts.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across the "Wasserngratbahn" parking lot, a convenient spot to leave your vehicle. As you make your way along the trail, you'll encounter informative signs providing interesting details about the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach the "Giferhüttli" information point, where you can take a break and learn more about the local flora and fauna. Continuing on, you'll eventually reach the highlight of the trail, the majestic "Giferspitz" peak.
This circular route covers a distance of 12.736 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1179 meters, making it extremely difficult. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It's also recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
